Timothy Bloom & V Bozeman
Facebook. Scrolling. Like. Comment. But this time, i pressed play. Why ? Because the caption said “black love”. I figured it would just be another BuzzFeed video showing stereotypes or even some profound point being proven , but i was so wrong….kind of. “ Oh if i should die tomorrow , oh please let there, let there be light “ sang out as an african american couple clung to each other, gazing into each others eyes. As they turned it became clear that this was not just another BuzzFeed video . This video was Timothy Bloom and V Bozeman singing one of the most passionate duets I’ve heard since Anthony David and Algebra’s ‘Forever More” . Timothy Bloom was a real shocker because he is more known for his collaborative songwriting for artist like Ne-Yo, Chris Brown , and even Smokey Robinson, but as i Googled (stalked him basically ) i found that he released his own album ‘Timothy Bloom’ back in 2014. Now on to Miss V Bozeman. This woman is FIRE! Being raised in south central Cali by her grandmother, V is ….. that girl! Working with big names like Cee-lo and Timbaland , V found her sound releasing ‘Music Is My Boyfriend’ and even having a scene in the first season of Empire ( in the studio with Lucious ). These two have come together to create “ ’Til The End of Time “. Not only does this song embody everything a love should be in 3 minutes and 40 seconds, the video is breathtaking. Bozeman states that the video being done Nude was Bloom’s idea and truthfully, it shouldn’t have been done any other way. Not only does it portray the beauty of a love that is pure and bare and open (no pun intended) , it shows the vulnerability a couple should share with each other . So , don’t be like me and wait until Facebook decides to tell you how oblivious you have been to good music and check out Timothy Bloom and V Bozeman’s ’Til The End Of Time’ on Spotify !
